As well as our ‘Swimmer of the term award’ we also have a ‘Swimmer of the year’, voted for out of all of our swimmers by our team.

Our Swimmer of the year 2024, Sienna Card AKA ‘Tink’

Here are some word from Tink’s instructor, Emma:

I began teaching Sienna when she was only 3 years old. My first memory of Tink was her confidence in the water even at such a young age.

Over her swimming journey with me, Tink has reached so many milestones, most recently her 2000m completed in just 39.9 minutes.

Tink has now enrolled into our senior development squad and its swimmers like Tink who have made our development squads possible.

Tink shows sheer determination in every aspect of her training, always striving for perfection and achieving it more often than not.

Sienna is not just a swimmer but is turning into a fine athlete and will go far in the sport. She is a wonderful part of the squad, always encouraging her team mates. It has been my absolute pleasure to teach Sienna over the years and I am so excited to watch the rest of her future (which will involve an assistant position with us…) I can think of no one who deserves this honour more.
